Cook School student Prianka is telling us all about a yummy Indian snack called Bhuja!
Cook School is a nationwide project that’s all about giving you real-life cookery lessons, so that you can cook yummy and healthy food for your friends and family!
Check out the recipe forΒ Bhuja below…
Here’s everything you need to make Bhuja.
This recipe serves two.
- 1 onion
- 1 potato
- Half a bunch of fenugreek leaves
- Oil
- Gram flour
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Salt
You’ll also need a skimmer, a frying pan, a bowl, a knife and a chopping board.
Remember to always get help from a grown-up when working in the kitchen.
Begin by chopping all the vegetables into small, tiny pieces.
Then place the pieces into a bowl, give them a good mix, adding the gram flour, a quarter teaspoon of garlic and a quarter teaspoon of ginger.
We’re now going to make a dough. To do that, add as much water as you need with a dash of oil here and there.
Form the dough into balls and pop them into a pan of oil to fry them.
When they’re fried, pop them on a plate! You can then eat them with chilli or tomato sauce!
