The National Portrait Gallery tells the story of Britain through portraits, using art to bring history to life and explore living today.

Join in this summer for a jam-packed programme of free activities for the whole family!

Learn about the stories of the six wives of Henry VIII and participate in creative activities inspired by the Tudors. Explore the greatest art competition in town and pick up new techniques for creating your own portraits.

From workshops to storytelling sessions and activity trails, there’s something for everyone during the two week family festival and beyond…
