Inventor: László Bíró
Date of Patent: 25th April 1938
More Info:
Getting to the ballpoint pen wasn’t easy for scientists and engineers. It took a lot of people a lot of time to get an even ink flow that the ballpoint pen provides.
One of the problems in getting the ballpoint to work is using the correct thickness of ink. If it’s too thin then it will leak, too thick and it will stop the ball rolling.
The pen is now known by the inventors name ‘Biro’ all over the world.
