Sir Sidney McSprocket is returning to Fun Kids!
Sidney will be inviting you into his Edinburgh workshop for another look at amazing inventions!
In this series Sidney’s exploring everyday items. He’ll be finding out when they were invented, who they were invented by and why they were invented when they were!
For example, the invention of post-it notes was a complete accident! A scientist was trying to make a new super-strong glue. Unfortunately, he ended up with something a bit weaker that was used to attach paper together!
Sir Sidney will be looking at other inventions too, like paperclips, vacuum cleaners and loads more creations that we don’t think about much, but we use everyday.
