You see, some geologists think that we’re now living in a new geological epoch – a fancy way of saying a long span of time in our planet’s history.

These scientists reckon that this new epoch has been caused by human activity. However, there is a lot of debate over when the Anthropocene began, if at all!

Some think it was with the industrial revolution, while others say it was the start of our use of farming.
