Since 1999, Scotland has had its very own Parliament in Edinburgh, and in our new series – Inside Scottish Parliament – we’re taking a look around!

We’ll be exploring the history around the Canongate and the whole of Scotland that led up to the beginning of the Scottish Parliament.

We’ll be taking a look round the buildings, seeing how laws are made in the Scottish Parliament and even finding out how you can get involved in the Scottish Parliament!
