Hi, it’s Zoom here from Birmingham Airport!
I love travelling and keeping a record of all the places I’ve visited in my scrapbook!
Check out this entry from Barcelona!
Barcelona
This is one of Spain’s greatest cities.
It’s a 2 hour flight from Birmingham Airport.
Barcelona is in one of the best locations ever – between the Pyrenees mountains and the Mediterranean sea – and it has seven amazing beaches, which stretch for almost 3 miles!
Barri Gòtic is the Gothic quarter of Barcelona – it’s a maze of dark streets crammed with wonderfully spooky medieval buildings!
It’s quite easy to get lost here so make sure you bring a map or your iPhone! I bought a map which I’ve stuck in my scrapbook!
Barcelona has one of the best football teams in the entire world – their striker Lionel Messi is also said to be one of the greatest players ever!
Even if you don’t like football, you should check out their stadium the Nou Camp, the largest in Spain and one of the largest in the world with room for 99,354 people!
All that sight-seeing made me hungry – and what a place to be hungry in!
I was spoilt for choice with tapas bars on every corner, and amazing seafood restaurants around the port area.
I eventually ate on Barcelona’s famous Las Ramblas, entertained by the many street performers.
I love being able to remember the trips that I have done.
Why don’t you create a scrapbook of your holidays? It could be online like mine, or in a book or on your computer!
