Hi, it’s Zoom here from Birmingham Airport!
I love travelling and keeping a record of all the places I’ve visited in my scrapbook!
Check out this entry from Dubai!
Dubai
Dubai is one of the most amazing cities in the world!
It’s just under 7 hours from Birmingham Airport.
It’s hard to think that just 100 years ago it was just a small town with just a few Bedouin traders and pearl divers.
Dubai is known for having some of the tallest building in the world and one of them – the Burj Khalifa – is one of the tallest ever built!
It has one of the world’s fastest elevators – well, you’d need that or a jet pack to reach the top floor!
Now, have you ever seen water dance?
The Dubai Fountain is the world’s largest choreographed fountain system!
It dances better than Girls Aloud – squirting 22,000 gallons of water 150 metres into the air!
Each colourful jet sways in time to music – it’s one of the most popular shows in Dubai, so obviously I made sure I got loads of snaps for my scrapbook!
Dubai is really hot so I headed to the waterfront for a bit of adventure… but couldn’t decide between jet-skiing, water-skiing, scuba diving, snorkelling or deep-sea fishing!
So I opted for the Wild Wadi Waterpark!
There was loads of cool rides – my favourite was The Wipeout!
But if you’re still in the search of something colder, you could try Ski Dubai – a huge indoor ski centre with five crazy fun runs!
I love being able to remember the trips that I have done.
Why don’t you create a scrapbook of your holidays? It could be online like mine, or in a book or on your computer!
