2022 is set to be one of the biggest years yet for space exploration but unless you own a rocket ship or have billions to build one, going to space is really tricky.
That’s why we’re giving you the chance to go to space for absolutely nothing.
Using a special type of radio transmitter, we’re streaming your voice to the stars in a very special radio programme that’ll travel throughout the universe.
We’re calling the project Mission Transmission.
You can head to FunKidsLive.com/transmission to submit your voice.
Make sure you get parent or guardian permission first.
There, you’ll answer a few short questions like:
- Who are you?
- Who or what do you love?
- What do you want to do when you’re older?
- Do you have anything you’d like to say to aliens?
We’re then collecting the best entries and we’re editing them into a radio programme.
Then, on February 21st 2022 we’re beaming the message to the stars live from the Royal Observatory Greenwich with the help of our friends, SpaceSpeak.
It’ll be the first radio programme ever sent to deep space!
