Fun Kids reviewer Mel headed to South London this weekend to see Backyard Cinema’s Lost World!
It’s a new jungle-themed cinema where you can explore tropical temple ruins and see some of your favourite films too! Here’s what she got up to…
“Cinema in a jungle is such a fantastic idea, however in a real jungle there are bugs and quite often rain!
Lost World is a brilliant experience in a comfy jungle with no bugs and just the sound of rain! Instead, there’s ruins, trees, sweets and popcorn!
Swinging in through the rope over a pit of doom was a fun experience for the brave – parents should leave their high-heels at home!

Lost Cinema is a unique atmospheric way to experience old favourite films and recent block-busters on a big screen but without having to sit in a sticky worn-out cinema! The bean bags are so comfy I wanted to take one home!”
I hope they come back for Christmas – I’d love to watch classic festive films in a winter wonderland!
