In this week’s episode of the Fun Kids Science Weekly podcast, Dan’s chatting to Dr Katrin Linse who is leading the mission in 2018 to explore the Larsen C ice shelf in Antarctica!
A huge iceberg the size of London recently broke off from the ice shelf – and it’s exposed a massive seabed that’s been hidden beneath the ice for up to 120,000 years! Dr Linse and her team will be discovering what life exists there and how it’s affected by this change in the environment.
