Every day this summer, we’re sharing something fun to do!
This week’s theme is ‘Science’ and we’ll be giving you all sorts of cool things to do to pass the time.
Every Monday, we’ll let you know all the stuff you need to get so you’re ready for the week.
It will usually be bits and pieces you can find lying around the house so there’s no need to pester a grown-up and spend loads of money!
This week, we’re going to be staring at the stars (Tue), creating dancing science soup (Fri), and mapping our surroundings through sound (Thurs)!
Here’s everything you’ll need this week:
- Paper or white cardboard
- Felt-tips, coloured pencils, or crayons
- Dried apricots, cranberries, and rasins
- Lemonade – (try our recipe from last week!)
- A bowl
There will be one new thing posted at 7am every day so be sure to visit the Summer Challenge page to keep up to date!
Most of all, we want to see what you make with the challenges we set. So send us a photo or get in touch and let us know how you got on. We might even read your messages on air!
The theme is set and the tasks are ready – we’re just waiting for you!
If you need some inspiration, check out our Science Weekly podcast!
Our science pages are also full of loads of information, including facts about space, hearing, and the environment.
